Once again the "intrepid old fogy's" venture forth on an adventure of incredible daring-do. This time they will travel to Germany to bask in the old world Bavarian culture, sail down the River Rhine, visit castles, churches, beer gartens and other Teutonic treats.
We will depart San Antonio on Wednesday, May 30 and return to San Antonio on Wednesday, June 20. Although Carolyn and I will be traveling Air Canada and Woodie and Linda will be traveling United we plan to meet up in the Frankfurt airport around mid-morning of Thursday May, 31. Once re-united we will secure a rental car and proceed to Ruedesheim.
Our first three nights will be at this lovely guest house near the Rhein.
